Let me just say that this is my first proper invasion map and that if there is improvements i would like to know please :3

Anyway......

The sun had just risen bring day to the land and there was a gentle breeze that came with it. People in Valareena were just getting on as they did.

Then several of the guards on the front gatehouse saw a scout, that was sent out to investigate reports of 4 brothers known as the Duc Brothers had started a war. Within minutes of the scout being seen, he was in front of the commander of the garrason. The commander was Eatherell and his face grew with horror of what he heard.

The Duc Brothers have Over taken realms such as Cyrodiil and Lewynina. But the some of the most disturbing news is that, are last allies The Akaviri have been defeated in their home relam of the Akivar Vale.

Commander Eatherell immediatly sent the scout straight to the King with his report.

Then Eatherell ordered that weapons are to be produced and the whole garrason is to be put out into action, he also ordered wooden towers and walls to be constructed on the front line

The time had come for Vantinarea to be invaded properly for the first time. Forget things like the Chardylons invasion that was nothing.

Are Fortress are good but have never been put against a real invasion but we have to hope and prevail

palat Well it's a very long mission, for an invasion :P
I'm about 3/4 finished right now. Going to finish up and add final comments tomorrow.
But for now: the map is pretty easy, if the player has good siege defense skills. This is due to that funnel you make the enemy go through. They get wiped out easily.
There's nothing that can be done about the economic goals, because no workshops or iron mines can be built at all. Map design gives enemy bows and xbows ranged bonus, but it is somewhat poor.
The castle design is creative. Good use of lowered walls add pathways. Nice wooden bridge in the back there ;)

like i said this is my first real stronghold invasion so im not to sure how long the invasion should be on so on
there are already worshops built as u probaly know but i want it so you cant build any as this makes you concentrate more on defence...

i may get rid of several of the starting men as when i tested the map i just kept getting slaughtered so i added extra men :P
palat No, the balance of the men is good.
Personally, I just felt it was easy, that's all. Anyways, finishing the map up right now.

Good for a first map :)
I suspect you may have maxed out the sprite limit near the end, with all those massive armies. Also, near the end the player runs out of iron, and must wait for the iron mines to produce more. So that takes a lot of time.

oh and can you tell me what you mean by maxed out the spirit meter im not to intelligent
palat Stronghold can only support a certain number of things on a map at any given time. This includes trees, rocks, buildings, animals, and people.
If you keep adding invasions within very short intervals (which is the case), this can lead to accumulation of troops on your map and eventually, invasions will not appear (or they will appear with very few troops), even though those invasions are scripted.

That's the definition of the sprite limit.
