As your armoured feet sink into the deep mud, you vaugely remember what the beggar said at the inn..."Danger lurks here, four times twice!"
Full story is (I hope) in the main file.
I don't know if it is hard or not, so I just set it as normal... This is my first map ever uploaded, I hope you all like it. Comments and constructive criticism is very much appreciated!
This map was one of the longest, most boring maps I have ever played. This scenario took me three hours to finish just because it lasted thirty years.
It was very easy to raise an economy with the large land spaces and even easier to sell the many resources you offered (especially iron).
This map was very easy, on normal I had 0% losses and on very hard I had 30% losses. The invasions were very small compared to my large army and came very slowly. A bit of advice would be to add more invasions and more troops to the current invaders.
I gave you a three because I like the creativity you used in this map. My favourite part is the river itself which covers most of the map as it acts as a good defence.
As for the story line I got really confused.
I will mention more on that later.
Map Design: 2
The map was very bare on large spaces dotted all over the map and the way the river meets the sea is very ugly and unnatural. I like that you have added alot of resources to the map but that can make very easy for the player to win.
Next time you should cut down on your iron and stone resource unless you are going to cut them from the market.
As for the story it was very short and I didnt understand most of it, it doesnt tell you the names of your Lord, the four evil wizards or why you had to defend the land in the first place. For this I can only give you a 2.
I think this is OK for a first map but could use alot of improvements. But not everyone gets good marks on their first map and especially not me. I think you should spend alot more time on maps and try to cover the whole map with detail before publishing it. :)
