Hey stronghold heaven :) Third map here, hopefully it's okay x) The thing I'd like the most is comments on how I can improve my playability - I know that it's lacking. Anyways, here's the story:

“Move it! They have their trebs ready! Go go go!” A voice shouts out of the din of battle as Arabian archers and short-swordsmen ran through the dunes, attempting to cross the bridge. Their hope was of a quick attack was lost as a hail of stones rocketed through the air, destroying the bridge. The soldiers were easy picking for the crusaders’ archers. In the poverty stained streets of Sikracf, all hell was breaking loose. Fire jumped from building to building, and Arabian long-swordsmen marched through the city, killing everything in sight. Group of street fighters jumped out to greet the invaders with piercing arrows. Peasants ran to safety as scores of archers rushed through the city gates accompanied by the legendary Horaxa – pikemen, with not only armour made of steel, but also nerves. Combat became dense is fire licked and cooked both sides’ men in their armour. Crusaders’ knights flanked the Arabian army, shattering hope. The sky goes grey with rocks as a nearby mounted catapult launches rock after rock into the streets.

-- (earlier)
“It is almost time.”

“Yes.” The Arabian elite looks bored. Taking his sword out of his sheath, he yawns with his mouth open before quickly readjusting. “Have we secured the bridge yet?”

“No. They are going now.”

At that moment, a voice rings out shrilly. “Trebuchets, fire!” The Arabian elite turns in alarm. “Move it! They have their trebs ready! Go go go!” Facing his squad, his orders are lost as screams and yells fill the air. “Damn it,” he mutters under his breath. “The goddamn fire throwers were supposed to be in rank, not acting like idiots… Go!” His squad of long-swordsmen march quickly and reach throw themselves over the shattered walls of the outer city. Horror meets their sight. Fire dances everywhere, burning everything from within. “Watch those Horaxa!” Cries of surprise came as a group of pikemen rushed out of the alleyways and slaughtered a squad of long-swordsmen. “Captain! Captain! They have a-“ The words of the junior sergeant is lost as a massive boulder strikes him across the face. The Arabian elite looks around wildy. “This cannot do.” Slicing his sword from an enemy archer’s throat, he jumps upon a pile of bodies and begins to shout, “To the gates! Cut down the-“ A look of surprise registers on his face as a bolt sprouts through his arm. Stunned, another three quickly find their mark in his chest. The Arabian elite crumples.

Tips&Hints&Other: The twelve crossbowmen and twenty six pikemen are gifts from a traitorous crusading lord. Use them well. The bridge I do not believe is cross-able, so it would be wise to pull the units out. The two ballistas will not be able to go past the first gate house; don't be afraid to lose them taking the gate. However, they can be used in proximity from the cliffs, firing into the the city.
