A Lord of the Crusaders had settled in this spring fed valley, Lord Blaker had spent years making peace with the brothers Adib and Alim, both highly educated in Arabic ways as well as the European ways, when it came to war the brothers were a very hard pair to go up against. When it came to culture the brothers were strict in maintaining order in their castles but kept an even balance of compassion, Lord Blaker had found them to be good neighbors. Until....
Early in the morning Lord Blaker could hear and see there was an unusual amount of commotion coming from the brothers castles, it wasn't long before Adib the older brother came to see Lord Blaker, it seems that their prized stallion and their book of horse breeding secrets have been stolen.
The two leaders sat down to discuss the treachery that has come about. Adib started with an account of how the thief gained entry into the castle and finally into the stables, he told of the European that was seen around the castle just before the stallion was taken, now Adib was telling Lord Blaker that his being a European meant that war would come to this valley soon if the goods were not returned quickly.
Lord Blaker tried to reason with Adib but it was no use, being a European was the trouble His former ally and friend now held him accountable and there would be no talk of peace until things were returned to normal.
Lord Blaker thought things would settle after a few weeks had passed, an all out effort had been launched to find the thieves and return the stolen goods, but nothing was found and the Stallion and the horse secrets had not been returned. He knew the peace was over when he heard the war trumpets sounding.
The archers were the first to come then slaves and because of their varied training the brothers sent spearmen and siege equipment to his castle as well, it was not easy but Lord Blakers troops managed to repel the brothers first invasion. The brothers were far from done, they would send small raiding parties out to slow the rebuilding, as they amassed another attack that seemed only a few years later.
It was more like 8 years and the brothers learned from the previous attack, they were sure that Lord Blaker would be dead this time, Lord Blaker had also learned from the previous attack and he knew it would take all of his skills and resources to hold the brothers back, well the brothers went home dissapointed, Lord Blaker sat in his ruined castle counting the few remaining troops, thinking it was good to still be alive.
Now the brothers were so angry it was of little importance that their property had been stolen, now they were set on the complete destruction of Lord Blaker, how could this westerner along way from home survive the invasion they planned so carefully. OK, so he survived, that will not happen again. They kept up with some small invasions designed to make recovery hard and planned for their final victory.
Lord Blaker knew the war was not over, a few small invasions did little to slow down the process of rebuilding the castle and troops, getting ready for what he thought would be the final attack, If the brothers could not succeed in removing him from this valley then he would be the one to return the favor and settle this war once and for all. Only 7 years after the last battle and the horn sounded again, now it would be the end, Lord Blaker or the brothers would be gone.
You the player will determine the outcome of the final battle, you can return and tell of your victories! Either cheer for the death of the brothers or cry about your failure to secure the valley of Adnan for yourself. You are the one to write the final chapter.
