I remember better days as I sit here writing this, the sun would come up and nurture our crops, bright red juicy apples gold stocks of wheat enough hops to keep every one silly all the time, the castle was busy with traders, people even entertainers.
As war came to our world all of those great times came to an end, our castle now in ruins the lands ripped bare of crops only sand and wind and the burning sun remains over our heads, we were pushed back to this dry little knoll, a few carts of stone some wood little food, a few gold coins not that their much good out here, but we will need troops and supplies to keep us going.
With a keep set up and hops started and only one hut, getting the necessary ale going and feed our people and still get enough troops to defend the little we have left will be a challenge, I'm sure the Lord Knows what to do with all that stone we hauled here with us from the old castle, our enemies are sure to be showing up soon.
I guess by now you've figured out that times will be tough, I gave you a little some thing to deal with on this map, 4 pikes will come calling and in six months add one more pike and add one more every six months till the end, 5 years to reach the goals of 20 ale and 100% silly! Or if your prefer inebriated or just plain drinking ale.
HARDER- I tested this map many times, won with feeding my people bread and selling the cheese and adding the Inn late, and with putting in the Inn early and not making bread, but feeding my people cheese and selling the cheese. After testing every way I could think of I swapped the pikes for Arabian Swordsmen, then after about a dozen more tests I found I could not win the map any more. So I went back and swapped the pikes for European Swordsmen and that would be impossible, next I went with Macemen and that was to easy.
So I give you 2 versions to play, Hard with Pikemen and Harder with Arabian Swordsmen. Feel free to change the pikes to European Swordsmen for the hardest challenge or email and I will send it to you!
