Following the conquest of the Holy City, King Godfrey needs to establish a thriving new kingdom. You were one of the most heroic knights of the battle for Jerusalem, so the king has an offer for you:
"If you can excel in generating gold as you have excelled in warfare, I shall make you a rich man. I know you are of noble blood, but also know that your forefathers have lost all your family's possessions, so this might be the opportunity of your life."
This king ask you to join him in a tower with a view over the city.
"There" he said while pointing, "you see a plot of land which you can lease and use as you see fit. The only asking is, that you deliver 4000 gold within ten years, and the land - and all its buildings, inventory, and stock - shall be yours for as long as you wish, all free of charge.
But do not disappoint me: If you cannot deliver the requested amount of gold, you will lose your lease, and all of what belong to it, as well as your personal property - including everything gained from this arrangement!"
Has anybody managed to win this? I've watched the video & tried all permutations I can think of, including starting with max tax, 3 bakeries & 1 mill worker; 10 workers, 3 bakeries & mill with double rations, then add alehouse, no food & sell the wheat from 7 bakeries.
The most I can get is 1440 gold.

After Korsfarer Mogens' tip I finally managed it. Interesting micro-management necessary for the first half. My only criticism would be that once your economy is up and running, the rest of the game is just spent buying & selling.

IMPOSSIBLE to play and win!!!! I don't understand the idea and concept of this map ... how do you get bakeries, a mill, an inn etc?
