this graphical representation of sethboy's data on unit health and damage looks like a very useful tool for all the planners of great battles!

If someone is interested, I'm adding a battle planner aka simulator to this excel file, if anyone has information about the data of melee units, I could make the simulator even accurater and better.
Will add the beta simulator soon though. |

Also, im still working on this excel file... Not adding melee values (even though i could calculate dying speed and work with estimations), but I am fixing the simulator; it seems a bit off. |

One simple question:
How did you find out about these values?
Did you use a hex editor or memory viewer or did you find them through experimenting with the map editor?
The answer to this question is quite important to me. If the case were that you used a memory viewer or hex editor, that would mean that you have quite some knowledge - at least few - about the structure of the executable.
I'm currently working on a tool for modifying the AI's economic behavior and troop quantities to build a somewhat "ultimate AI-Mod tool". Any information about how the program structure works would be helpful. I'm currently melting my brain with 500.000 lines of assembly code. Quite some work.
By the way...
Great table - Thanks for that!
A table with all damage parameters would be great to see how much damage e.g. the lord and a halberdier deal against other troops or even buildings.[Edited on 12/31/13 @ 08:38 AM]

As stated in the information of this file,
I got the values from sethyboy, from this page:
http://stronghold.heavengames.com/downloads/showfile.php?fileid=5681
if you don't want to go there, read his words:
" found all of this data myself using a memory scanner/hex editor program."
So yes, but anyway, as far as I know, I can't get in touch with sethyboy. I need the attack values for melee attackers, I do not really care if I was given an average time, as long as I got something to work with.
By the way, new update guys. IMPROVED BATTLE PLANNER (works with Excel 2007+) |

Hi
I'm currently working on getting the damage data for the ballista, the fire ballista and the monk (but it will take some time, I have exams coming up). Afterwards I'm going to try to get the melee data, however, i don't know if it is possible to tell when "one hit" is done. (if you know what I mean; ranged is easy to see one shot).
If you want the data (a simple .txt) my e-mail is *********[Edited on 03/26/18 @ 04:40 PM]

Glyoxim
I'd like that very much, tell me when you got all the melee values. I know it's practically impossible to get them for 1 hit, but I can work with averages. |
