My maps are more simulations than stratetic fights. As simulations, they are as real as possible und represents always the lifetime of a ruler. You are this ruler, and your task will be to survive the time. These times will be sometimes very peacfully ( ;.)) may be, to peacefully), sometimes you will have nearly no chance. But which castle hat a chance, to survive the great war in Germany around 1618?
With every new generation, the apperance of the castle changes, because people always do exactly this. The landscapes changes too, because the existence of the castle and the settlements changes it. I recommend therefore, that you are looking for updates, because the maps could be very different. The events of earlier maps influences always the events of the new one.
You always get a completly developed large castle. Therefore happens nothing important in the first 5 years. The castles have the chance, to run fully, and you have the chance, to become acquainted with all functions. Best playable at 80%. Heavy freguented wooden portals slows sometime movements. Delete them, and it will be o.k.
You are part of the history of Rodenstein, a castle with a living history. Although it really exists and the map based on it, the map is not a model of Rodenstein. The History is complete fictional.
1366 – 1412 (46 years) Time of fierce experiences
You are Waldemar, Lord of Rodenstein, (the snake) and heir of Hugo the III. You managed totighten your ruleship and you are now the duke of Südwalden. But the country is after this war still unsettled, there are rebelsoccasionally, and people, hich fought with you, are now fighting against you.But although they damage your oconomy, thexy are not the real danger. Far more danerous are famines and the heat heat about many month, and the woods are bone dry ….
Hints: The task seems easy. You have to grow hop and satisfy the unsettled peasants, but if you are not skillful, you can‘t succeed. Althou the trade routes are quite good, you can’t buy food, a point of real weakness. Already in the beginning you should build bakeries and protect your fields, because quite early in the game little groups of swordsmen and mercenaries will attack you. But they are not the real danger, not yet. Build wells and be prepared, otherwise your castle will burn to the ground, and you have to start bey zero. As the attacks will continue and some of the peasants began revoltung too, your life will be than a fierce experience.
