The King has chosen you to establish a community and production facilities to produce weapons, food, ale, and gold for the King's armies. You have chosen an area rich in resources, with an old defensive wall built many years ago. The people who used to live here left due to wolf and bandit attacks from the hills across the river. You need to produce the goods required by the King while defending against the wolf and bandit attacks.
Playability - The scenario was nice to play, although playbility was nothing special. Sometimes I didn't have anything to do, so there could have been either some more things to do or the scenario could have been shorter. But after I had got my town up and running I wanted to finish the scenario, so playability was average.
Balance - I played the scenario on 'Very Hard' difficulty level but didn't have much trouble beating the mission. The scenario was well balanced in a way, that I wasn't able to gather too much of the required goods, but the bandits were easy to defeat. Also, neither the wolves nor the plagues caused any severe trouble. I had some minor challenge in gathering the gold and the weapons, but in general it was quite easy for me.
Creativity - Both Map Design and the story were quite ordinary and didn't feature anything novel. The reason why I gave a 2.0 is because the natural defenses of the map mentioned in the story were featured in the map, which I thought saved the scenario from a 1.0 in Creativity. But otherwise Creativity was quite low.
Map Design - Map Design was quite ordinary. There weren't any severe flaws, but neither were there anything special on the map. Not awful, but not stunning either - a good basic and playable map, which could be improved by terrain editing, improving the looks of the rivers and using some more eye-candy (not necessarily anything special, but some basic natural eye-candy, like rocks & shrubs and maybe some fountains, bridges and things like that).
Story/Instructions - A short and simple story with no spelling mistakes. The ordinary story about establishing a production center, nothing more. Some more background story in a readme file (a readme file itself would be a nice thing to be included in a zip file) would have made the story deeper and I could have given a higher score.
Final comments: A very basic map with nothing too bad but nothing really good either. Finishing the scenario on the 'Very Hard' difficulty level can take some time, so don't expect to beat the scenario quickly.

I played this mission on the “hard” setting and had a great time with it. I liked the design of the map and the there were a large number of goals to complete. I would have preferred to start off without having the towers and walls built, so that there was the challenge of building the protection for the city. Overall, I liked that there were large numbers of bandits attacking in each wave, and that there were a large number of goals to complete.

lord_yoshi's Review tells it all. There is almost nothing special about this scenario. At the start, wood is scarce but this will change soon. At the end, you have to sell and sell and ...
Hops and wheat farms next to the stockpile work wonder. Apples next to the granary. Best played with -5 fear factor and game speed 90.
