Hi everybody!!!
There's my second aiv for stronghold crusader skirmish: the pig returns!

This is a good aiv file, It is a simple design and works well with the Pigs economy, The higher walls and big gatehouse offer extra defence which could offer a bit more of a challenge, although the Pig is an easy opponent to defeat. Overall a nice file , keep up the good work :)

A nice design.
You have some fine points with that castle:
- Good building order.
- More than 1 gate.
- Stronger walls.
- Siege engines for the pig :)
- You placed macemen on some towers :)
But there are also some things that could be done better (more text, as I think "mistakes" should be explained in greater detail in order to understand and improve)
- You have 5 fletchers, 3 blacksmiths, but only 4 tanners. I'd suggest to place at least another 2 of them to support the Pig's army with enough leather armour. Moreover, cows are easily available to the Pig due to his fancy for dairy farms, and they are "for free", so selling a possible surplus fills up the treasury.
- You placed an armourer workshop - but Pig has no use for metal armour, and in times of iron shortage the iron should better be used for crafting maces, as the selling price of metal armour is a lot lower than the buying price of iron or maces.
- If the pig has a lot of weapon workshops, it sometimes needs a second armoury (or the workers have to wait until pig recruits a bunch of soldiers again, decreasing efficiency a lot). Though I didn't run a long test to see if this is the case for this special aiv.
- You have plenty free space inside the castle. Try adding some more economy, some statues or other buildings (or the valuable space is wasted).
- Consider adding 1 or 2 more wells for preventing fires.
- You placed no killing pits, which are a usual feature of Pig's castles, making it a bit harder to conquer them.
- You 4 ballistae spots, though only spots 1-3 will be used (for whatever reason, applies to all aiv castles for all ai characters). So, you could replace the 4th ballistae with a mangonel. Moreover, ai can place more than 1 siege engine per tower, if you want.
- You connected the big towers with the outer wall. May have some advantages, but as there are plenty of stairs, is not really necessary. On the other hand, this makes it easier to conquer the towers with assassins or siege towers, thus making the castle more vulnerable to such attacks. However, 2 rows of crenelated wall, or a row of low wall connected to the higher wall, can prevent this.
- You may place up to 10 crossbow spots - as far as I know, placing a few less won't lower the total amount of soldiers placed, but consider placing eg 2 spots on the front towers to make him place more crossbow men there, if you'd like that. Moreover, I'd add some more macement spots (1 on the other front tower, and some on the keep), to ensure Pig does not place too many macemen on the one tower and the gate while leaving the other fron tower and the keep unprotected.
And maybe a 3rd fire ballista for guarding his back (gate)?[Edited on 08/16/12 @ 06:51 PM]

i'll try to make the best, i know some points you show me, the big tower connected by the other walls isn't an error, i think that this can be a weakness point of this aiv, but, you're right; why make this easier then it can be? :D

No, of course it is no real error, I only wanted to mention that it could be done better, not that it would be totally wrong to do it like this.

You improved some things, making version 2 stronger than version 1.
