Where people get together! All sorts of people like traders, travellers, entertainers, and often those who carry arms!
Your ancestors have set up the fortified trading post at an important intersection of two major roads of the country. In these times of civil war, as warbands cross the country in search of a fight, you are asking yourself if it is wise to enforce control over these important crossroads?
This is a short invasion scenario. Should be a challenge on the "Very Hard"-setting.

Update: Corrected one of the invaders identity. The correction has no impact on gameplay!
This is a very quick map. In fact, it's so quick there's not much time to do anything. This map feels a lot more like a siege than an invasion. Economy-building is pointless. The invasions offer a bit of a challenge, but your options for facing them are few. It's sort of a fun map, but there's not much to do.
This map took me three attempts to win on very hard, so the balance is pretty good, but the map is short, and figuring out how to win wasn't too hard.
There's nothing too creative about this map. It's essentially a siege with a twist, that twist being what gets it its creativity points.

It's about average, map is pretty bland, although there are some hills.
Story seems decent, it's pretty short though.
A good map if you're just looking for something quick. Unlike a siege, you have the option to reconfigure your castle before the attack, although you don't have much time to do it in.

Hi Timballisto, and thank you very much for your review!
A few comments:
The goal was to create a "fast and furious" scenario, that you would only have to spend 15-20 mins on, and thereby giving the player easier access to try out different tactics. I hope I succeeded in that, and your review gave me that impression.
You state, that there's not much to do. Well, the options narrows down as you yank up the difficulty. If you try it on the normal setting, you'll experience a much wider range of opportunities/possibilities!!! Btw, have you tried digging a moat?
Thanks again. Your feedback is highly valued.

Okay, I didn't actually try it on the lower difficulties. Also, yes, I did end up digging a moat. I can't really be more descriptive without spoiling the level for others.
