UPDATED!: There is better balance and all issues have been worked out. This is still a hard map to beat though.
The former lord constructed a wooden fort in this region but has been overwhelmed by the nearby wolves and bears and is nearly dead. Your mission is to make this struggling fort a success. Get the population up to 50 and gather enough supplies so that this fort can survive for many years to come. Unfortunately The Rat has heard of your ambitious task and wants to finish the fort off for good. Clear out the wolves, bears and fend off any opposing forces. Rescue the former lord from certain death and make this fort a permanent fixture. Good luck!

Any feedback and reviews would be greatly appreciated!
The map is great and I love that atleast the stone quarries are protected from the troops attacking.
The immediate attack of wolves and bears is sort of cool but a little pesky when you are trying to set up your economy!
And the rat attacks are at least small forces but very consistent so it's good action.
This map would OWN on a larger scale maybe 300x300 with more building space and trees that are protected for you to set up your base, dig in, and have larger attack parties coming at you.
but good map overall

Playing at VH , I felt the map has a very good balance as 2 little mistakes I made in the setting of buidings lead to 2 defeats , third attempt whith the best logistic I could find leads to victory whith 6% losses .
The permanent pressure of the Rat build an amazing puzzle , as you need xbows to protect your woodcutters and wood to make xbows !
Ended whith more than 80 xbowmen in 6 towers ( my fletchers won the race)...
Very good work , thanks for sharing it .
Edit Obviously , I don't used any trick ...
I think the small map is a part of the puzzle , you have to plan carefully economy to spare room and your woodcutters are never ( at least at the beginning ) out of reach of invaders .

The opening situation felt compelling to me. Various invasions from early on. The Lord must not be touched. How to arrange the first outline of the village? Then expand by the time. Big fun on Very hard.
The repetitive wolf alerts, later, sounded quite weird. This torture for the ears is unavoidable if there shall be constant damage to popularity. It's challenging if you want to relocate the granary in just that phase of the game.
