The King has sent you on a very important mission to the holy land. You are to claim the lands In Edessa near the town of the local caliph, known as the Scorpion amongst his townsfolk for his cruel and violent behavior. He will obviously try to kill you and stop you settling there. There have also been rumors of an old enemy lurking in the hills around there.
The Arabian Town
The People have suffered under the caliph! His soldiers are poorly trained and should prove no match for your skilled troops. His town is well defended with pitch however so you should be cautious.

The greedy Pig as been causing no end of problems; disrupting trade routes, pillaging villages and he has taken a disliking towards the Caliph. He will be problematic for your settlement so take him out ASAP!!!
Author's notes
I spent a lot of time perfecting this map, I do not think anyone else has thought of the mad and crazy idea of merging Crusader and Castle Builder game modes! Hope you enjoy the map and make all the hours put into it worth it! Happy gaming.
(Do not restart, that crashes the game. Just quit and go back into the map if you want to restart or are stuck)
Cool, a skirmish-scenario-castle-builder!
And I agree, it's probably the first one ever made. And this might be the key to SHC-E castle builder maps...
I wonder if invasions and bandits would also appear (and how they would react) when there was a signpost on the map.
Definitely the most uncommon "castle builder" map I've ever seen :D Though, the ability of the player to spawn events might be a bit unfair against his enemies, but war is seldom fair... ;)
Landscape could be improved, but that's something that needs some experience and practice.
