Although it really exists and the map based on it, the map is not a model of Neuschoenburg. The construction is in parts is complete fictional.
As the AI of Stronghold can't handle large castles as an attacker very well, I recommend to take the part as the attacker. However this could be sometimes not so easy. Every castle might own several fortifications . (There are generally 22 fortifications possible, most of them are my own developments. But no castle has all of this 22, because this would generate invinsible castles, and this is no fun.
Often the generated army is to weak to conquer such a well fortified, large Castle. You will get therefore more bowmen during the time. If you don't need them, delete them.
It's not enough to kill the Lord. You must defeat a special number of enemies too
You will find this castle in the north of the tschec Republic. It was a guite large castle, but you will find nowadays only low walls of the ground floor and no signifant remains of buildings.
1431 - The William and AleÅ¡ brothers from the house of Schoenburg share their domination. What William founded the castle NeuschÃ¶nburg.
1449 - Wilhelm von Schoenburg sold the castle to the Lords of Ilburg.
1453 - The lords of Ilburg sell the castle already again, the new owner expand the castle.
16th Century. - The rule is only of marginal interest. Even a fire in the castle might have led to it.
17th Century. - The castle is uninhabited and is to decay
