The early months of the year 1121 was not a good time for you. Disillusioned with the greed spreading throughout the land and the corruption within the Church, you renounce God and fall out of favour with the King. Your castle is taken from you and you are left with a small band of loyal troops and whatever gold you can carry. Angered by this, you vow to overthrow the King and ensure law is restored to the land. However, you have a small problem. Without a castle and people your plans will never come to fruition. Time is of the essence and it would not go unnoticed if a new fortress appeared on the horizon. Luckily, reports are fed to you that Duc Beauregard, once a sworn enemy of the King, is away on 'personal business' and the small castle known as 'Smugglers' Cove' is left virtually unguarded, save for a handful of Beauregards' troops and his closest friend, a knight and master swordsman. The Duc was instrumental in your banishment from the Kings' Court and it would seem only just to take what he owns. His people are unhappy and would welcome his disposition, working for you in your quest. Take the castle, begin manufacturing weapons and prepare for the Duc's return.
