My second completed siege map, and probably the one that took me the most time to make. I tried my best to design this one to be a bit of a challenge for both sides, and would be happy to hear what people think of it.
From my in-game map description:
"Between the years 1409-1411 a war was fought between the Teutonic Knights and an alliance of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. During this time the Poles and Lithuanians inflicted several significant defeats upon the Teutonic forces, with battles such as Grunwald showcasing their valor and heroism in the face of the perceived superiority of the Germanic invaders.
Some of the most skilled and courageous allies of Poland and Lithuania were the Tatars. These Turkic horsemen from the east had been settling in the lands of both nations since the early 14th century, and brought with them many foreign tactics and practices that would prove of valuable use to their slavic allies. Many Tatars would later become ennobled as part of the Polish szlachta, and from Grunwald on they continued to prove themselves as effective light cavalrymen within the ranks of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth."
