After being exiled for 10 years, the Rats brother, Steven De Puce, is back to take revenge and to raise rebellion among the peasants.
Having established a base, Steven attempts to bypass the Rat's army guarding the direct route to his castle by going South, around the mountains. He decides to build a permanent settlement to supply his army as they march through the cold wilderness. However, the Rats spies inform him of Steven's plans, and he sends his troops to kill Steven. Steven is forced back to the islands southernmost peninsula, and must erect a mighty stronghold to repel the Rats forces and continue on.

Playability this time doesnt really differs from last time. Same few invasions that on VHard difficulty first invasions could end up in the lose but survived those, last invasion was cream pie. The events and the first message that says build wells are quite missleading as the fires seems like depended on what you build like gallows, unhappiness to boost production so most of the game didnt had fires and those 20 wells built didnt required as much as I would wanted it to be. When made huge boost to unhappiness bandits came... But all the fires and bandits happened after last invasion when only had 8k gold from 16k required and invasions beaten so that was quite disappointing since it didnt made me to restart the map or start from saved game to complete that Gold requirement, game lasted third of the time more with max speed since nothing left to really expect and all the money needed to aquire. Plus the one fire blaze happened as event, so yeah.. to really well executed fire event.

Balance: 3.5
Biggest disappointement was that I was still playing and was trying to aquire the gold that was required to pass mission when all invasions was beaten. And game was quite easy even on such difficulty - Very Hard..

Creativity: 4
Decent map layout for eye to enjoy, story to be part of, the game events, action to experience.

Map Design: 3.5
The sea river with few passages makes game quite easy to defend from enemys. Same problem with the Iron and quite lacking of it this time. Map layout give less options where to build and where are major resources, mostly the greenland for farms.

Story/Instructions: 4
Story, art map still there - great! No tips detected still.

Additional Comments:

Well hope to see those improvements and a bit better design of the map and game breaking events.

twodie this map is not supposed to be a challenge to extremely skilled hardcore players like you, thus i rated it as normal for averagely skilled players such as myself. if you want a harder map for people of your level find a map listed as v. hard. And you should not rate map design on how abundant iron is. maybe next time i'll put more iron in to improve my score on map design (sarcasm). also i did not think a genius like you(more sarcasm, 20 wells? on 1 map?) would need hints.

palat Relax, your concern is understandable but advice is great! Besides, reviews aren't a dime a dozen...
Personally I think your map design was great. To each his own.
