The invasion of English to Scotland started in the year 1296. This great war lasted for over 20 years and took the lives of many English and Scottish Soldiers and innocents.

The King of England at this time was Edward I 'Long shanks'. Edward reigned Scotland with terrible might going as far to create a law that when a Scottish woman was married, the English Governor got first go on her.

Eventually after years of Guerilla warfare and hopeless fighting two men named William Wallace and Andrew Moray rose up in rebellion.

Wallace who was only in his twenties at the time Killed the governor of Lanark which began his rise to fame. Many Scots flocked to his as they made their way towards the English.

In response to this uprising, Edward I ordered his Son to send an army north to eradicate the Scottish rebellion. The two forces met at Stirling bridge and here would begin one of the most Ambitious uprisings in the History of Man.

As the battle began the English made the first move. A large battalion of heavy infantry slowly made their way across the bridge. They charged at the Scottish and the English Cavalry began to charge the flanks.

Although, William made an all out Cavalry attack and drove all English infantry away. Most of the Heavy infantry were mown down by the Cavalry but the English still retained most of its forces.

It is up to you to destroy the Heavy Cavalry and use your advantage to destroy the rest of the English forces and kill the English Commander who resides behind his forces like a coward.

This map is dedicated to the Movie Brave-heart but also the Historical Events that really happened. Some of the map is also Fiction that I have added myself.

This map wasn't very exciting. The knights charged, but were easy to take care of. I could have just gone around them. After killing the knights, largely with crossbowmen, I waited for my ranged units to knock out the front line of the enemy across the river. Then I charged the enemy crossbowmen and eliminated them. This allowed me to bring up my ranged units and shoot the lord to death.

Balance: 3.5
The map was not difficult. I won on very hard on the first try, and I was never afraid that I would lose the level. However, the designer has indicated that the level is not difficult, so I give this a 3.5.

Creativity: 3
Open-field battles are not common, which improves this score. Despite that, the battle itself was not very creative in how it functioned. After the knights charged, it was essentially a siege against an enemy with no fortifications.

Map Design: 4
The map is well-made for the most part. The terrain work on the areas away from the river is good, as well as the ruins. The river has too many shallows in it, and some of them have been accidentally raised. Good work in this category.

Story/Instructions: 2
Not only is there no story in the scenario briefing, but there's no story packaged with the scenario file itself. The points for this score come from the description on the map's download page. If there were an explanation of the map in the briefing, this score would likely be a five.

Additional Comments:
There is potential here for a good map! It's visually appealing, but the gameplay itself is lacking. I would recommend setting all of the enemy troops to an aggressive stance. Additionally, rather than having the knights center on one enemy unit, I would spread them out so that they will at least hit the player's formation no matter where they move their troops. You can even add more knights for this to increase the concentration of knights over a given area. This way, the player must fight a minimum number of knights without raising the difficulty of the level; the rest can all be killed at range. After the knights are done, the level becomes far less interesting, as you're simply fighting a stagnant enemy. I'm not sure if a desire for historical accuracy would prevent it, but having the enemy troops move across the river to attack the player as well would be helpful. Putting the player's army in bowshot forces them to take action of some sort and makes the level exciting. Also, adding a story in the map file itself would be helpful.
