Tyros [Tyre], the ancient Phoenician trading city situated on a small island just off the coast of Lebanon; recreated as it would have looked (more or less) during the Crusader period. The island's shape is faithfully recreated, and the main island fortifications are linked by a causeway (seeing as the game doesn't allow for proper ships, I opted for creating a causeway like the one Alexander the Great constructed during the Siege of Tyre in 332BC) to its wall-less suburbs on the coast. Resources are relatively scarce, and workers take a long time to cross the causeway over to the main city, but thanks to its status as a major trading port; the player starts with quite some wealth. And he will need it, as he is forced to fend off waves of Arab troops - increasing in numbers each time. Are you up to the task of defending this vital trading port from the Muslims?
After submitting my first maps the other day I figured I'd try a ma and review it.
A very well designed map, you have a fortress island with a small fortune and plenty on the stockpile to get started. Since there is no water siege option the map designer has built a earthen rampart out to the island like Alexander had done.
My issue is the map is too easy, the island with one path can be fended in several ways, my first game only had a few enemy reach the island and they were met with overwhelming force.

I'm still fairly new to Stronghold Crusader, and this was first fan mission I have ever played. What an awesome start!
A superbly designed map, and a very creative & interesting storyline as well. The final (huge) attack certainly presented me with a challenge I had never encountered before.
Proud to say I completed the mission without a solitary enemy troop even stepping foot on the island itself :-)
