First of all, this map was made by version 1.3, but I didn't have an 1.3 as an option in the listbox.

I made this map so I could fight as much AI opponents as possible (with one ally or alone). The idea was for me and an ally to take the two positions in the southwest, and to fight all other opponents, while AI lords start with 40000 gold.

The southern position is a bit harder, as it is harder to get stone and iron, but you have enough wood and oasis there, so it is not impossible. Once you kill the enemy in southeast, you get iron. As about the stone - you nearest stone is in the center of the map, where will be hard to get stone from.

The position in southwest is easier - there you can build stone quarries and iron mines near the hill, while you can also send your troops on the hill, to defend your workers, but also as a point from which you can attack the enemy north of you.

I've downloaded patch 1.3 from gamershell, thus upgrading 1.2 version. So I guess it's not steam version. :)
Savage Templar Really good map, I have to say. I haven't seen one uploaded with this level of detail in quite a while.

I played 2v2v3 because I don't think I am good enough at the game to play 2v6. I was in the bottom left hand corner with the Snake as an ally next to me. The Abbot was in the bottom right hand corner with King Philip just above him and they were allied. Then it was the Sheriff in the top left hand corner with the Sultan to the right, and the Emir to the right of him. I left the middle empty to stop lords building their castles into each other. Needless to say, I won.

Thanks, Savage Templar, I'm glad you like the map! Thanks!

And, by the way, I believe lords wouldn't be building castles into each other even if you placed one in the middle. At least that hasn't happened to me... Nevertheless, it does depend of who you place in the middle, who you place around him, and also, what castle will he decide to build. :)

When Wolf starts building that castles completely of stone with zero functionality (messing up himself and others as well), I can't resist but to restart the map. :D Unless I didn't notice that in time. :) By the way, I don't say I've seen him building that one on this map, I say it in general.
