Here are some faces I have created! I hope you will like them. I've put some time into them, and I would be grateful if you rated them. To cut the long story short, here are the images: If you like those, you may also be interested in other I have created. You can take a look at them here! There you will see overview of some other faces as well, but there you may also contact me, if you have any fresh idea for some face you would like to have created. I could make it for you, and I would also upload it into my album, but that only with your permission. Of course, you may also contact me here, but if you do, please post a comment there that you wrote to me here at Stronghold Heaven - this way I will get an email notification, and I will be aware of that someone wrote to me. :) Also, if you don't want to download all those faces in one file, you may chose to look for this specific face in my Stronghold Crusader faces and crests album, download it, and then you would have this one you like, and all other default faces (shields). As about setting up these faces: all you need to do, is to unpack the archive you downloaded from here, and copy faces.bmp file into folder Program Files\Firefly Studios\Stronghold Crusader, thus overwrite the original face.bmp file. In case you forget to backup the original faces.bmp file, I have provided it in this download as well. ;) Enjoy those new faces, feel free to contact me, and don't forget to rate them, if you like them. :) |

Oh, sorry, I forgot about one important detail. When I mark the background for coloring in purple, I don't use the brush tool, or the "magical wand" tool, but I use rectangular tool instead. Because this way, when you mark one square, it will be 100% marked, and not partially. And like I said, I click several times to color that background. It's just that one click isn't enough (though that may depend of the image editing program you're using), you need to repeat several times the command because edges of your marked sta (your background) wouldn't be colored entirely purple. |

Yes, unfortunately that's just how it works, it just doesn't fill entire background. Maybe that was done for players not to fill in the box entirely, as then you couldn't tell the color there of the player while you're in a multiplayer game. I would love if I could at least go entirely to the left or to the right with my face...
But I'm glad you made it. :)
Yes, and pity that Firefly haven't done the same thing for any other Stronghold game. I would live for other players to be able to see my crest in Stronghold 2 multiplayer games for example. I realize there would be immature kids who would draw some stupid stuff, but I think it would be a good thing. |
