A lot of people were focusing on a crazy defense with lots of towers and thick wall while creating an AI. In my personal opinion, AI castle are part of their 'identity'. For example, Caliph castle with a square shaped towers perhaps are going to be stronger but it will loose his big part of 'identity'. I suggest if you wanted to create another AIV, try to not only making them stronger but also maintain their signature and unique look(Look up some of lordnmb or Yumi_Hena work to see what i'm talking about).
Oh, it is just my suggestion but if you are planning to build AI castle for the european lord for example, try placing a square shapped only tower and round shaped for the arabian one. Because it was more historically acurate as far as i know. Thus, if you haven't notice yet, even all of the arab lords using a as round shapped tower and the european square shaped :). As far as i know, during the crusades, the European build a square tower as part of their architecture and they build the round one after a visit to the holy land :)
Sorry for my english

thx for the comments I prefer to focus on hard defence, because its more challenging to destroy those castles.
and besides i think mighty castles fit those emperors like frederick

From looking at the picture, I'd say this castle is both original and fitting for Frederick.
For Frederick it is very important to test new castles ingame, as he does never buy weapons and a big enough production is thus very important to him... so, can't judge that now in detail...
Not sure about those two towers in the back - are there supposed to be troops?
You could still include moat - if it can not be built due to terrain height, it makes no difference and when it can be built, it can make this castle even stronger (having a few archers dig it out won't do any harm to him in the end, but may still give him an advantage in the later game).
I see none of pitch ditch, killing pits or boiling oil pots there - including some of those might make this design even more fearsome to any attackers.
Definitely this looks like a hard nut to crack!

Frederick doenst use enginiers with oils :(
at least not at my castles, he always sells + buy pitch imediatly which harms his economy
there should be troops on every tower, i just made those pictures very early, before he stationed archers there

I also hate this buying and selling pitch stuff. This is why I try not to let them do this, even if it would be better, as I want the ai to use their normal defences. Greetings
