Great celebrations were held in those days in the entire realm. The son of the Archduke was finally born into the world. From all over the continent had come emissaries boring gifts to the noble family. There were two weeks of tournaments, exhibitions and concerts. In the squares of all cities, the residents would gather to feast and dance, entertained by jesters coming from everywhere. Everyone was happy. When the boy grew up, he was given a teacher. He had to prepare him for war and politics, instructing him on diplomacy and science. The boy quickly learned the ancient languages, but something was wrong in his preparation. The teacher gave up all teaching except those esoteric. The two were locked for hours and hours in the tower of the teacher, and no one knew what they were doing. The old man was a sorcerer, a follower of the lost cult. He was shaping the young so that he became his slave, so he would be king. But one day something happened that changed the fate of these lands.

The teacher and his student were locked in the tower, intent in some strange ritual. Both were speechless when the boy's father came in, asking his son to accompany him on the hunt. The Archduke was petrified. His son was sitting in the middle of a pentagon, surrounded by candles and incomprehensible writings. He took his son and ordered the guards to stop the sorcerer. The day after he was sentenced to death, and burned alive in the main square. She screamed all the time, but they were not cries for help or pain. He was throwing a few spell. Then he breathed his last. No one noticed the golden glow that lit up the boy's eyes. The same eye color of the magician. The years passed, and at his father's death, he became the new archduke. The young man had always been praised for his goodness and wisdom, but no one was ready to what happened next. In his heart harbored the madness. His eyes were blind, they saw only one thing: absolute power. With the stupid excuses on territorial boundaries, he declared war on all the free lands, invading and seizing them unprepared without notice. One after another they fell under his control, until there was left one. One last little glimmer of hope against the tyranny of the Mad King. And now, on this small strip of land, locked up in your fortress, you are waiting impatiently your enemy, groped for the last defense of free people.

The castle of Elabron stands on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea. Its location has made it a strategic point, both economically and militarily. The city is the center of maritime trade with the southern kingdoms. Every day dozens of ships arriving from the south, bringing enormous wealth. The city is spread over four levels. At the base, outside the city walls, lies the port and crops, while inside there are shops, houses and markets. Here lives the common people. On the second level there is the warehouse and everything to do with the military department: blacksmiths, armories, barracks. The third level is inhabited by the wealthier citizens, whose houses are large and luxurious. Here also stands the great temple of Miranat, father of the Gods. In the last and highest levels we finally find the royal palace. Unfortunately, your forces are not sufficient to resist the invader. To remedy, you send knights to seek survivors of the armies of the Free Lands, and you can put together a small army of veterans.
In addition, a group of mercenary archers joins your cause bloating your armies.

You must resist the siege. You'll have a little time initially to arrange the new troops and try to recruit more men as possible.

You are the last hope for freedom and justice in this land. Do not disappoint us.

lord dredde Hello.
I started to play the scenario and looked at the impressive design of the castle and the layout, lots of 'eye candy'.

I like these highly detailed maps where the creator puts lots of detail and effort into making a great map, look forward to seeing more designs from you.
