ognjenzr HI guys,me for the fourth time... here you have 8 new AIVs for the booooring,but charming French monarch... :D
The designs are not revolutionary,i kept the original idea,we have the original wall+moat combination,which is his signature mark,i just gave it a little bit of makeup... :D

Overall,it's a better economy,better defenses and overall more realistic and harder to take down castle...

Enjoy,and leave a reply/comment/suggestion/bug...

Yeah,something was wrong with the code,sorry about that... :D
Landari 2 things I should mention,

1. more gate houses are a good idea to increase his economy, because sometimes the oasis or quaries are just in the "wrong" direction in the map ^^ and i think old phillip normaly uses two, but im not sure about it, deletet those files a long time ago XD and replaced them.

2. there should be a moat at those places with the highcrenel-wall-tower4-wall-/highcrenel. Because bowmans are kinda slow killing everything and they have a "blocked" sight when the enemy troops are directly in front of the wall. The problem is if those knights infront of the castle dies and the gate house at the back is blocked those "sticky troops" can cause seriuos damage and problems to phillip ^^

Thanks,it means a lot when i see at least someone takes the time to comment on my work.I hope my designs give you a little bit of a challenge when you play them... cheers until the next pack! It's going to be awesome i think!

As a side note,you can see my Phillip building quarries and gathering cheese,which makes his castle building much faster! :)

Duc Vautour That is awesome. Phillip really needs a quarry because his castle although small and didnt use a lot of stone, takes a long time for him to enclose it. And he also stupidly builds expensive buildings outside. And also he builds too much stables for like only small number or knights tho he sends them frequently(many knights, didnt sent them too often)

On a side note, could you do Frederick? Making his signature triangle, not so big but with lots of weapon workshop. I believe that his triangle castle with a separate big tower is pretty neat for a battle against ai. Because ai almost never attack a separate section of tower and by the time he lose, because he had only a few man to defend and rarely atk. Thats why i believe he needs tons of workshop since he also didnt buy weapon
Landari The problem you have with oxether in aiv editor is that it will be placed in the same spot ingame, which means it could be very very far away from the stone quarrie.

and another thing about quarries is that it should match the same spot ingame I think. Otherwise it might not be placed. but im not sure about it

No,i tried it! the thing is this,the AI just checks that there is stone available at that side of the map,if you placed a quarry on the left side in the editor the AI in game will place it on the stone on the left,but it doesent need to be an exact spot! also you dont need to put oxes manually,the AI places them automatically close to the stone mines. :) The same goes for the farms.

I will do Frederick,i think hes going to be the next in the series,after i finish the current arabian lord.

Landari Have you tried the smae with the oxthreader ?

Yes,when you put them in the editor,the ai builds them,but they just sit around and do nothing.Just put quarries,and the ai will put oxen close automatically.
