This is an economic mission where you must gather iron to help in the war with the wolf. If you play it in higher than normal itwil be imposble. It can be won quite easily if you do it righ and get a bit of luck.
What a pity that this mission did not find real fans the time it was submitted. Guess, it was ahead of its time: a tricky and very clever scenario.
Indeed, there does not seem to be alot to do here. Found it virtually shocking myself that the wood cutter's hut is disabled(!), along with many other buildinga including the market.
However, there is a lot you can do which is called micro-managing.
Only one wood cutter? Let's place bad things to speed him up. With increased productivity, ever few wheat farms are needed.
The people are endangered by wolves? Let the Lord catch them one by one. Without fear of invasions he won't bother getting his lifeline damaged.
Bad events without any measure in the village to fight them? Constant need of fixing taxes in both directions keeps the player busy.
With a relatively low population I could win the map pleasantly on very hard.
