Playability: 4/5. This map launches with a huge invasion of slaves. You have plenty of knights on the map to start with and getting these into an attacking position should be your priority. They can be problematic for you due to their sheer numbers but surviving the first wave is relatively easy (I do like the use of slaves in Crusader maps). What follows are more substantial invasions with plenty of time to build up your troops to defend against them. All this is offset against a burning castle which decimates most of your smaller buildings.
Playability is fine, with lots to do throughout. No problems encountered and is quite good fun.
Balance: 3/5. Maybe just a little bit too easy. You start with a huge amount of raw materials which can be sold at the marketplace and combined with the large amount of starting gold adds to your ability to buy weapons directly. The latter invasions are better for a scrap, but that isn't taking anything away from the slave attacks at the start, which is well done (maybe a few too many for the game to handle?). It's good feeling to see large scale carnage though!
Creativity: 4/5. Credit here is given for the use of arabian troops attacking your castle and the overall idea is good. It's a different approach to normal invasions with those slaves. I also liked the sheer numbers to defend against and the idea of a fully working town, or what is left after that fire!
Map Design: 3/5. Simple enough layout and two entrances, one ungated. Simple and clean design, but could have benefitted from a bit more modelling.
Story/Instructions: 2/5. A low score, only because there wasn't much there to introduce you. Could have been a better score if some content was provided.
IN SUMMARY: I liked this map overall. It's definitely weighted to combat and there isn't much need for economic structuring as the map progresses. Good effort, looking forward to more!
