Welcome to chapter three of the Divided Kingdom,we return to follow the tale of the young prince.
Here is an extract from the story Dragon's Lair'
A ruined mountain fortess older than living memory, some say it got the name as a Dragon once lived here, others believe it's a tale to keep trespassers away as there is thought to be a lost gold mine, whichever of the rumours is true tread carefully.
I have made two versions ,the first is a 'place your own keep' the other is with your economy/fort built up.
There is a third map based on the v1 map, where there are a few outlaws who are searching for the gold mine, best you deal with them so don't stop to admire the scenery!
Again another thrilling scenario; it took me a few restarts until I figured out how to start the best. As there are some bandit attacks and minor invasions impeding your economic development. Thus, I concentrated on consolidating my defense by gradually improving the economy and stabilizing the steadily staggering popularity. All in all a very well thought out concept/mixture of good or bad events accompanied by steadily repeating invasions or bandit raids. By the way a finely modelled landscape with enough resources necessary to keeping you alive.
Well done! I've played the "place-your-keep-map. and it's not that easy as supposed to be ...
Statistically I have to mention, that I only registered 4% losses of troops (due to my special strategy) and I counted 170 archers, 92 crossbowmen and 54 knights at the end.
Let's tackle chapter 4 next!
