Happy New Year to you all guys and thank you for keeping this version alive.
After many restarts and giving my brave horseman 25% fighting bonus and using diversions, I managed to take down the three nasty snipers. But the stockpile never manifested and thus I cannot proceed. Pity not to beat this one. Considering such a lovely terrain which must have took pains to compose, I must assume that the missing stockpile is a riddle and not a version issue or a bug. Would Lord QoOQ kindly consider giving us mortals some tips, we are all dying to beat you :)
Hi Stratego, did you manage to crack the riddle? By the way I played all your creations which gave max satisfaction. So thanks a million and please help.
Best regards Lords and Ladies and happy gaming.

I assume that I have to fight with a bunch of woodcutters in order to solve the problem ... let's check it out!

Played it on Easy. Managed the second attack, but the enemy and a large pack of wolves killed almost everybody outside the castle. The granary dried up and I lost popularity. With some bribes, I survived by the skin on my teeth. I had 32 crossbows and won without casualties.Still hard on 'Easy'.

SPOILER................................................................There is a "secret door behind the mountain on the top of the map. [ rotate map or use space to see it]
Open that door and you can kill the "sniper"crossbows with your knight without problems.
The moment you kill the crossbows the castle AND a stockpill is yours!
Make your own crossbows and place them were you killed the other ones. Protect them with a wooden door for the incomming wolfs.
You can protect your people /castle with a few well placed wooden walls and destroy them again when the danger is over so your people can go to work again.
Start to make food en mine Iron as soon as you can.
