It is the summer of 1264, after five months of hiring men, gathering enough goods and planning for your mission, you and your caravan set out to claim new land for your lord. Your party comes by three large mountains situated at the shore. The flora and fauna are flourishing, but deer and rabbits aren't the only animals roaming this place. Scattered around are some spots of stone and iron, which will support quarries and mines, while the swamps in this area should maintain the extraction of pitch. After a short time discussing, you and your men agree to construct the outpost here. Now it is up to you to lead your new settlement. Will you build up to be yet another seigneury for your liege, or do you aspire for more? -by Angel_Morrefni
This map was created with the version 1.41 of Stronghold.
It features a slow start. Allows to place any building and has spots for all productions.
If you like to build massive economies you may have a hard time since there is not too much space for wheat farms. The map features the obvious 3 main spots to put your Keep but you can get creative of course. Stone, iron and pitch cannot be spammed so it may take a while to construct a big castle without buying everything. But that to me is the beauty of Stronghold.
