There are three missions in the zip file that follow the story of a lord who has his castle taken from him and fights to take it back.
I actually made these maps years ago, but never published them and just found them on my external drive. If anybody still plays this great game, I hope you'll enjoy them.
Hurray, somebody is still playing this version, at least 375 (downloads).
A trilogy. Difficulty escalates from very easy to very hard.
Nemesis 1: The story is typical, but interesting enough and it does set one in the mood. The terrain well crafted,
very convincing and anything but boring, while the small fort works fine. This was an outpost to be held by a
small garrison. Objective is easy and simple, but it fits the story well for the first mission of a mini campaign.
Nemesis 2: The topography and the use of iron form the first mission give a sense of continuity. But here comes
some challenge, especially if one makes my mistake of not building the blacksmith shops as soon as possible.
Nemesis 3: A very difficult Siege. The Rat's castle is compact, sporting eight towers besides the massive keep and
gate. All are packed to the brim with ranged troops and three ballistae. It took me several restarts from saves to
keep the casualties less than 10%.
This trilogy is well designed. It becomes rapidly challenging, but guaranteed to give one many hours of fun.
