Welcome! This map will be the first (of 6 maps) in a campaing called:
Master of the lands.
Your skirmishes with the rat have really made him mad for killing you. Some peasants are seeking refuge in your stronghold and you should put them to good use and shelter them from any harm. Near your stronghold lies an ancient cloister hidden in the marsh and you would benefit from praying that it stays hidden from any enemy. If it won’t you should raise it again for future generations to come. Its blueprints are well stored in your keep. Although if you are not able too the monks will forgive you.
There is a hidden spot in the hillside where you can fit your barracks if you so please.
I would like to thank moorhuhn19 for making this map and I hope you will like my modest contribution to the keep, the storyline and added cloister. We pray it will stand for a long time to come.
The fifth map in the campaign - a first taste of the wolf - is a small mission and will be found under economic missions.
All of the 6 maps in the Master of the lands campaign have been tested by me at normal dificulty. If you can win at any other dificulty then that means you are a player far beyond my current skill level! Have fun! Please leave a note if you wish!
In deed a quite challenging scenario! At the very beginning I was inclined to relocate the stockpile, as there is just a small area given, just suitable to set up two stockpile segments; anyway I compensated this deficit by a steady usage of all incoming goods with regard to a thriving productivity and constantly positive popularity. Thus I was able to keep pace with the recruitment of a strong defensive army to withstand the growing invasions of all hostile troops. I didn't register an efficient or remarkable effect on popularity caused by the existing abbey.

I'm glad you liked it! Did you try my robin hood campaign (found under economic)?
