Being a nearly live long RTS enthusiast and still owning some CDs/DVDs of Stronghold 1 delexe edition, SHC (extreme) and SH2, I wanted to edit some AI´s as soon as I discovered that there was still an active SHC community. I hope I can expand my SHC AI editting skills in the future. I would also like to use this moment to introduce myself to the community.
Features:
-a castle containing comparable buildings as the original Emir3.aiv file.
-design to conserve the feel of Emir by placing a few big round towers and a large gate.
-one of the flaws of Emirs castles is that it takes emir fairly long to complete wall his castle, leaving it open for considerable time. This aiv file aims to build a smaller interior section of the castle first, so that the lord will be safe in the early game.
-All building are fully contained within the castle walls.
- This castle has a more gates, which will help its economy
- to original Emir3.aiv builds an armorer instead of an armory and therefore it is bugged. This file correctly builds an armory.
-to original Emir3.aiv builds 10 houses at the start, which it does not need so early. This file will focus on building different buildings first.
-With an outer wall as strong as Emirs walls couples with interior walls, this castle should be a little tougher that the original.
-in the same style of the original, it does not use a moat.
-I believe it is more preferable(more economical) to have a fear factor lower than +5, which is something that this file achieves.
-compact design(but more inflammable, I guess).
I hope you can give me some feedback on my design. Unlike any other Arabian lords, it uses some square small turrets, which is something you might dislike.
