My green popularity icon is solid green and has stopped moving.
This means that your population should be rising but is not, due to a couple of factors. These factors could be:
a) You have reached your housing limit and you need to place more houses before your population will continue to rise.
b) You have the housing space available but you have filled up the available space around your campfire and you will have to give these people jobs before more
people will arrive at the castle.
Why are people leaving my castle?
This is probably caused by your popularity being low. Ensure you have placed a granary (press G to locate it) and that you have food being produced. Also make sure you are not taxing your people too heavily as this can also cause people to abandon you.
I have loads of iron but I'm unable to build swordsmen?
Certain missions may not allow you to build swordsmen. You may need to place an armourer & an armoury as swordsmen need swords and armour in order to be created.

Click on your granary, then click on the plate with the no entry icon above it and then click on the food type to stop your people from eating it.
I'm having difficulty building my walls and seeing behind objects.
Press spacebar to flatten the landscape.
My own troops are attacking my castle / I can't place things in a certain area?
You may have another section of a different player's castle placed within yours. While playing the map, move over objects on the screen with the mouse cursor. This will show the name of the player the object belongs to. If the object in question does not belong to you, you will have to destroy it before you can build your own in its space.
Stone production is very slow?
Try placing more ox tethers next to the quarry that is having trouble producing stone. The further away you place the ox tether from the quarry the less efficient it will become.

Monks do not possess any special abilities.

These events are unavoidable.

Can I repair the damaged stone towers?

I have tried to put some soldiers onto a tower and then deleted the stairs to prevent the enemy going up the tower to my soldiers. If I select my soldiers and order them to go to somewhere else they come down from the tower even without stairs.
Your troops will appear on the ground if they cannot get down from a tower or wall. This was added into the game to prevent troops getting stuck on damaged walls.
Is there a strategy guide available?
