This is an easy mission. When you start buy some assasins and sell some stone. Send about 40-60 assasins to the snake. And you will have 10.000 money. Now you can buy anything what you want. Defend you castle very well. And defeat all the enemy's.

I look forward for next missions - i have succesfully completed mission 77 against three emirs, mission 78 will be not so bad, but 79 scares me really... I will be grateful for some intentions.

just place a round tower as far northwest as possible, and put about 15 arab archers in it. All you have to do is make a drawbridge, dig a moat, and add some crossbowmen to your tower everynow and then. For me this was all the defense that was necisarry

Just make 2 hovels, 1 granery, barraks and armory. Sell all goods exept food and buy 25 maces and 25 leather armor. Get 25 maceman and kill the sultan within 2 mins. Easy as a pie!

Sir Launcelaut, balanced means that everyone has the same supplies, like iron and stone, and unbalanced means the opposite as you can understand ciao

Well my strategy is this: I haven't read all of the responses BUT my strategy is usually the same: When you start immediately reduce the game speed to 20 - 25... After that Build wheat farms, woodcutters, etc... and mercenary camp! Build also extra two houses to provide yourself with population and create as many slaves as you can and star digging a (not very thick) moat (like 3-4 squares). Then build the round tower and assign all archers + ballista on it! Bear in mind that you need to cover as much as farmland as possible! You will likely to be penniless within a minute but it SHOULD take you trough the first five minutes! When you make a moat you don't need do spend the your stone on walls which will be easily destroyed by the enemy's catapults! You need to devise this and try to suppress the "Richard 1"as he is your most formidable adversary! The snake is virtually harmless if you listen to other gamers and burn his estates as frequently as you can! Hope this helps!

I used Arabian swordsman to attack from left to right, not the other way around. I rushed about 50 Arabian swordsman and killed first 4 lords pretty easy then i used victory money to buy more troops to kill last lord. Good luck passing this mission.
