hey everyone i come across a problem with my invasion map that i made, i put in invasion scenarios win conditions and lose conditions but the troops never show up! (i do have sign posts fyi)

It actually was working once before but then i decided that the invasions are not spaced out properly and decided to change the scenario a bit, added a few units and buildings and now it does not work

whenever an invasion is supposed to be qued the announcer says "the wolfs forces are attacking!" but they never show up, and a second later you can see some of my troops having a victory cheer

is there anyone out there that knows whats going on and how to fix it?? I worked quite a bit on that map and now i cant even play it!!

I am willing to send the map to people so they can help me debug this problem! thanks in advance

Hello Baldfriend,

scripted invasions not appearing should generally be a problem from the surface of the map. E.g., if the relative strength of the defenders is too big, the invaders reveal common sense and run away instantly.
The cheering of your own troops has just signifies the end of the sequence: the enemy has gone and they have survived this time round.

hey Peter thanks for the reply, I think I will take up on your offer to help me out as I tried increasing the amount of invaders to 500 and even deleting walls and units etc and they still didn't come maybe you will have more luck then me, I shall send you map shortly!

Having played the map, the problem seems to be that no enough months are allowed to pass between the starting date of the scenario and the date of the first invasion.

As we all know, a message is given before an invasion the differing feature of which is the size of the incoming danger. In other words, the message depends on the individual total number of troops of the invasion.

Now, that message is displayed three months before the invasion arrives on the map. If, as described above, there's no time for this message to be displayed, there seems to be an internal feedback so that the respective number of troops is not displayed either.

The solution is simple then. Just give your castle and the player one or two more months of peace.
