Have you noticed bugs which were in Stronghold 2 but are still in your latest version of Stronghold Legends? If so, list them here, please.

1.ghost players showing up in host lobby
2.complete crash after entering a few host lobbies followed by a black screen then the appearence of a message that says stronghold 2 or legends exe has encountered a problem and must shut down
3.youre typical lag issues including the ability to lagg sell resources and gain ridiculous amounts of gold
4. when leaving youre own host lobby youre name still appears as hosting a game in the main multiplayer lobby

War Forged, could you explain the bug for me please. I have tried using a Village Idiot and a few more after that and do not have access to the market.

onslaught181 1, 2, 3 are fixed in the mp patch for legends.

unfortunately darren i and quite a few others in the stronghold community have found war forged to be the idiot of his village so you will very rarely get a coherrant statement from him, this is not flaming or a personal attack but just plain frustration from the mutiple encounters i and numerous others have had to endure concerning him, go onto the 4h website and you will see his ridiculous attempts at posting firsthand

One bug that I have been noticing is that anti-unit siege weapons (steak launcher, fire ballasta, enchanted orb) all have the ability to be set to multiple attack types (stand ground, defencive, agressive) but changing this behavior does not make them change their actual behavior at all.

Either the options should be not avalible for change (like the tribuchet) or they should in fact adjust the unit's behavior (I'm thinking, stand ground obviously normal, defencive move to and attack any units which attack you, offencive attack any unit which comes into range; I would actually prefer this, stronghold has always been a game of huge armies, and having to micromannage units flys in the face of this)

If I recall correctly this same behavior was displayed by the fire balastia of stronghold 2, and also of wall defences, which I often would have liked to set to 'fire whenever you have a valid target' (SHL wall defences have that behavior by default which I like)

They probably made the ballistae and stake launcher type weapons act like that so that massive hordes of them are no longer effective, but the weapon itself is not diminished in power.

I'm glad they did that. I had a lot of trouble with how they let siege weapon armies dominate everything in SH:2

Hello,regarding bugs (1)i've noticed that the resources icon is always ale barrels and not the actual goods required i.e swords.someone remarked on this in one of my maps (2)units pile up ,if the ai is improved what possesses them to climb up onto a semi demolished wall,then be attacked by their own seige units.(3) game crashes if there are too many siege weapons,even if they are included in seperate invasions.(4) can we see a return of drunken peasants in and around the inn.(5) finally please don't bring back the crime or gong as they were really annoying in the SH2 war missions.Finally a great big ''thankyou'' to firefly for another great game.LD

I should've added regarding units piling up,as somehow hilarious when they climb up an abandoned seige tower or ladder onto a tiny fragment of wall and then get sent flying by their own catapults,this happened while playing one of the death match games and i won by default!

Not much need to worry. There are few bugs in Legends since the advent of patch 1.2

I myself have not noted any serious bug in the game at all since then. Perhaps the occaisonal crash, and Multiplayer lag (during large battles).

I haven't been able to play MP on SHL for about three months now.. Nothing really glitchy about SH2 though.

I agree with Lord Tanthos. I haven't noticed any bugs whatsoever in Legends (gameplay-wise, I haven't played it online yet)...okay, maybe one. When I was playing against King Arthur and Prince Dietrich on the Cold Harbor map (I was allied with Sir Lancelot), when Arthur died, I went back to my castle and noticed that one of the carts that the estates use to send goods to your castle was stuck right outside one of my gatehouses. The horse was still doing the animations, but it wasn't moving: it still had a cartload of bread on board (all of the estates that i controlled were producing bread)...not much of a biggy, but as far as I can tell, it is the only bug in the game. Now, if only they could do the same with SH2...

i have 1 problem when im in the midle of a game all the sudden ill be back at main screen dont know if this is in sh2 though(only occasinol)

I know what you mean Vlad the Vampire,it happens that in stronghold 2 and legends alike (I don't have legends but it is just a small graphics change and whatnot and it comes with the same issues as SH2)when you go to the pause menu by pressing escape I have sometimes accidentally run my mouse by and clicked the quit button which has no confirmation message it will seem to auto-quit.

SOLUTION:be very careful when you go to the pause menu

The biggest glitch in stronghold history! If you put troops in a siege tower, and you can reach the building, you can destroy it! Ex: If we were playing no walls, I could take a siege tower and destroy every bulding he has with 1 man at arms. I don't think anyone else know about this.

I didn't see this mentioned, and I dont know if its on SH2

In multi player you can not tell troops to gaurd something or your king. locks the game up every time I have tryed it

That's a very odd bug. I don't think that has happened to me before.

Possibly because I've never told them to guard anyone in multiplayer.

While I have not played any Stronghold game for 5 months until yesterday, i do remember that the escort mode for units to defend another would cause the game to crash. That may have been fixed though, i haven't been able to check.

I think that I've seen many glitches in Stronghold Legends. however one sticks out to me. When Merlin goes to cast a spell ( this happends to me at least) nothing happends. the enemy just falls over dead! I don't know. oh also has anyone relized that the knights King Arthur summonds don't live as long as the ice madians or the werewolves that Vlad and Dietrich summon. I did and man the knights live like 8 seconds shorter then the others. yea oh if you want to play with me my name is Sir Bedivere.

The knight summons having a shorter duration is intentional. Firstly because mounted knights are very fast, and secondly because they are a much better summon.

yea I know its just funny. lol I have to build a castle for my history class and my teacher is letting me build mine on SHL while everyone else is trying to make theres out of cardboard lol. we just started the project yesterday and I'm the only one done with it lol. : )
