I had trouble with two of the siege maps in the military campaign. I finished both of them, but just barely. For the Sultan's Palace scenario I finished with 12 men-at-arms and my battering ram left out of my entire army. For the Homecoming (Wolf is in your old castle) scenario, I finished with literally one heavily damaged crossbowman who managed to get on top of the enemy keep during the scuffle and then shoot the enemy lord by himself. And this is on normal difficulty.
A lot of the other maps have little tricks that you have to learn that allow you to bypass almost all of the castle's main defenses (like in the abbey map where you have to go off to the side in the dark and then it's really easy to punch a hole in the wall and go right up to the keep) - basically, almost every siege map gives you a back door option except for the Sultan map.The Homecoming map has something that's like a back door, but it's still too heavily guarded and filled with traps to really be considered a shortcut. Are there any back doors or shortcuts I'm missing for these two maps? Any other tips that might help?
