Hey IrishStag,

I wonder if I'll ever get the hang of HTML, it's kind of fun to play around with, but a bit confusing at times, if you'll notice in my edit message section the colors I typed in aren't the actual colors that came out... and I have no clue as to why not. Most of what I've learned has been through observing how others do theirs, so I've never had an actual formal training in this area. Is there a website you know of that teachs such things? Anyways, just curious as to how you picked up on my amateur attempts at using HTML.

You're on the right track. Just keep look at others' code, you'll get it sooner or later

First off, some of your values aren't in quotes. That doesnt always matter, unless its something like this...

That will make color=orange your command(wont do anything anyway), and "size=" your value.

Also, you didn't use and Hexadecimal (sp?) codes for your colors. If you have an RGB amount, you can use this to help you...

digit:        0   1   2   3   4   5   6   7   8   9   a   b   c   d   e   f
Color amount: 0 16 32 48 64 80 96 112 128 144 160 176 192 208 224 240

If you want the RGB to be [8, 0, 0], for example, then make the first two digits 08. the 8 digit is exactly half way on the scale, so you'd have that as the second digit after 0 to represent that the Red value is 1/2 way between 0 and 16. It seems very complicated, but after a while, it is easy to understnad

I will, DX. We were supposed to be going over there for a take-away Chinese meal (big treat, as we don't have one often) but both my daughters were too ill to go .. and certainly too ill to eat, so we've postponed it until everyone's fit. Shame in a way, because you only have an 80th birthday once.
