Hey again y'all, ericgolf, Strife, EaglePrince (Steam is the future)
But seriously, with the new Valve hardware coming out in Nov, I don't see how that couldn't happen... Imagine playing Stronghold, on your couch, on a controller. That's happening in, like, only months from now. *inner fanboy intensifies*
Hmmm. For RTS games I think I will always prefer a mouse and keyboard, unless this controller is different somehow.

I agree with Timballisto, but still - who knows, maybe they do bring some new type of controller which would be better than the one we would have now. Also it is somehow difficult for me to imagine playing a RTS game like that, but who knows...
Speaking about playing, from the coach - few days ago I found a website where I can play online old Sega games I used to play when I was a kid. Sonic, Ottifants, Shinobi, Ninja...
Maybe I'm a little too stoked for this product, lol. It does have dual touchpads in lieu of a D-pad and the trigger buttons also function as analogs. You guys are right, I still personally doubt if this new controller is capable of replacing traditional keyboard & mouse, but at least the consensus seems to be unanimous in saying it's far more accurate than an Xbox gamepad.

Nostalgia I run one of those DOSBox games once in a while, there was this extreme racing game I used to play when I was 7 or 8... opened it up again a couple of months ago... the sentimental feels were great (looking back though, the gameplay was actually pretty crap)
