Love and hate. These two opposite terms are inseparably interconnected such as “angel” and “devil”.
Love can produce hate, especially when jealousy comes in between ...
This is a fictitious story playing anywhere in ancient “Germania” during the period of the early Middle Ages.
Imagine the following situation: You are Lord Sigmund, a Marcomannic knight, who fell in love with the charming Lady Catherine, King Aribor’s beautiful daughter. Your insidious and rapacious rival, Lord Bodomir, simply called “The Blue Snake”, has murdered King Aribor in order to seize the realm. Now he’s obsessed with the idea of marrying Lady Catherine to seal his power. However, the young Lady’s heart is beating for you, and that’s the reason why Lord Bodomir’s jealousy is heating up day by day consequently increasing his cruelty. So beware of the Blue Snake’s attempts to kidnap Lady Catherine.
The population has already left the neighboring estates for fear of suppression caused by this frightening tyrant. Beasts of prey as wolves and bears have retaken possession of the former cultural lands, and many traders give this wild region a wide berth.
You are ready for anything, highly intent on restoring law and order, and encouraged to take revenge on King Aribor’s death by holding him in honour.
All evil things must come to an end, but you can only rely on peasants and rangers from the woods, not being well-trained in war-like affairs.
Your wedding planning is in full swing. Thus, it’s necessary to stock up enough venison to feed all the guests invited to the forthcoming festivities.
The country provides plenty of natural resources for breeding cattle, sheep or pigs, and the purchase of hops for brewing ale will make your growing population steadily happy.
To enjoy a colorful in-game-atmosphere I recommend playing on high graphics settings provided that your computer specifications allow such an adjustment.
I really enjoy this map and scenario. I am looking forward to your next creation

Hi Stratego Thanks for another unique map, I gave up on SH3 so my skill level is very low here, the few times I tried playing your map got me nowhere so I gave up.
So I guess I will stay with SHC and SH2 for now.

One hint for those players who probably get stuck:
try to exploit stone (being located not far away from the keep) as early as possible in order to get to the barracks and armoury for the recruitment of rangers; this will help a lot ...
