Well to cut a long story short, the king was sieged by Duc Volpe(Wolf) and wants you to retrieve stone by a certain date. However there are bandits operating around the castle.
Wow! I finally managed this! I really enjoyed this scenario!
Playability - I've spent a looong time doing this one, with lots of false starts and having to think before I clicked. That's exactly the kind of challenge I like! Even when I'd finally hit on a strategy that worked, it was reasonably tough going.
Balance - It's labelled up as a difficult one, and boy, it's not wrong! I played on 'Normal'(as always) and had to start again about 5 times. I'd have given it a 3 for being too difficult if I hadn't been aware that it was going to be. The obstacles were brilliant spaced, enough to keep me on my toes, but manageable - just.
Creativity - All good, except the decoy apothecary (I never once encountered a plague) and buying/selling iron at the market? Gnah! I hate having decoy market items, because I invariably accidently buy something I didn't want, right when I'm short of gold.
Map - I really like the idea of all those fords and the sort of maze effect it gave. And the starting castle was exactly the right size, enough space for essentials if you're careful, even later on.
Story - Not particularly inspiring, but solid and gave you the information you need.

I found this mission to be very interesting and very hard - until I figured out a trick which made it much easier (This is why I gave the mission a balance score of 3). I would have liked to have seen more goals to meet, but I thought that the attacks were well spaced (though I was able to work something out so that they did not bother me at all), but would have liked to have seen a plauge or two. Overall, I found this to be a challenge, myself having to restart it many times.
