The second part of the ten part series is a map where Edward and his followers take shelter in the ancient castle of Heredith. After holding off Lord Malian and defending the village successfully, you travel South-East to castle Heredith. After scouting the area, you find two camps by the castle. The other search party, lead by Girrin are ambushed and persued by the rat. You have no choice but to take cover in the ruined castle and defend the attack and the others that the rat will inevitably send to dispatch you.
The Conquest in general follows the path of prince Edward and many other characters in their conquest for peace in the islands of Hertoin. The first five maps will be set in Sallium and the last five in Dinlathia. As well as the prologue video which can be downloaded here there will be a epilogue video.
The Conquest II is quite an easy map bearing in mind that it is only the second in the series. If you find this map to easy, attack the barbarian settlements either side of the castle. The maps will get harder and longer as the series goes along. This map should be played by both experience and newer players as the balance is set to enable a magority of people to play. In the zip file there are tips on how to play the map and of course - the map.
-Note - the map has been updated so the victory settings ae correct. Sorry about the previous trouble.

Quite fun, aside from the bug that made it so I couldn't finish, it was very enjoyable.
Balance: 3
A bit on the easy side, this would be a great place for an inexperienced player. More seasoned players really need to go to a higher difficulty than Normal.
Creativity: 3
Though there are many very nice aspects to this map, the glaring "Castle in a valley" is very hard for me to overcome. It deserves a 4, except for that one thing.
Map Design: 4
This map is beautiful and believable.
Story/Instructions: 5
This story is excellent and will most likely recieve a 5 from me all the way through.
Additional Comments:
I had great fun piecing together and defending this castle.
