Minas Tirith Attacking Siege by Bismuth

This time, you get to be the BAD GUYS!

After creating my Minas Tirith invasion map (Minas Tirith by Bismuth #686) I wanted to try to use the same map for an Attacking Siege.

I made a few modifications to the original map, including adding towers with mangonel and ballista.

You will need to play on EASY to start with the maximum number of units - approx 500. If you find this too easy try playing on NORMAL.

I have not tested this as a defending siege - only as ATTACKING. Originally I had set as the victory condition to eliminate all enemy units but currently victory is obtained by killing the Lord of Minas Tirith.

You control the attacking hoards of Mordor. Enjoy!

Bismuth.

This is a really fun map to play and so close between 4.4 and 4.2 - have changed my mind so many times! It is a really fun castle to siege using a variety of siege weapons. I playtested this map and found it too hard - now the map has been updated - I started off on easy and complteted it with over 50 pikemen left - then going onto normal the map is more of a challnege - am close to completing it so this is perfect balnce for me. I like experimenting with my troop choices and using a variety if sige equipments. Just like my review of your invasion Minas Tirith the map design is generally quite good, sometimes a little plain but enough for a 4 - good castle design and cliffs. Same with creativity. For storyline and instructions I think you could have put up new screenshots and storyline - next to the map there is barley anything written at all - could have a done a little more here. So overall a good map to play, fun to siege and using loads of siege equipment. Good work!

This map is very well planned out. The design is great and the balance is as close as it gets. I really liked the cliff on the left hand side of the map. The huge rocks looked effective amongst the other smaller rocks so well done. I think this is one of the best versions of minas Tirith and i'm addicted to it. I have played 3 times now and i only have a few men left over when i finish, it truly is a great map. I think i gave you a very generous 4 for your story though. I did this because i didn't want your overall score to suffer but please write a bit more or i'll change my mind. Overall another great map from you keep it up,
Lord Arthus
