Briefing: This is the fourth mission to Hopeless Dreams. You are a common soldier with big dreams to some day be Lord of your own castel.
Mission: It starts off fairly easy but as time goes by it gets inceasingly harder with more and larger attacks. This mission is mostly fighting so you dont need to worry about fires or other economic anoyances. The only thing is theres a plage but it doesnt last long.
Note: this is my first set of maps so theres probable some mistakes in them. I hope if you find one its not to bad. Good Luck and I hope you like it.
I would just like to bring to your attention there are guidelines when it comes to reviewing other peoples maps and it isn't just about how you want to do it, I would suggest reading these before you review any other maps.

Playability - While this map may not be the best map ever made, it certainly isn't the worst map ever made either. I found this to be a fun map to play with lots of action going on in it. There are lots of invasions to keep you on your toes and even when you don't need to fend off enemy invaders, there are plenty of other events, like plagues and bandits to keep you busy. In fact, this was a rather addictive map. There were some playability issues that kept the score lower than it could have been: sometimes the events were almost too frequent and I found it rather annoying when the bandits constantly attack you at one point (it made the map more challenging, though). Also, the map ends automatically at a certain date, even if there are still enemy units on the map. But it's a fun map to play.
Balance - Balance was okay. It was not too hard nor too easy. Challenging enough at times, but the end of the scenario could have been more challenging.
Creativity - I didn't really find much creativity in this map. I did enjoy the vast array of events and invasions that you have to survive. But it was quite an ordinary scenario.
Map Design - The map is not totally ugly, but it's not a masterpiece either. I didn't like the rivers because the white little rapid things didn't look good. I also suggest using smaller brush sizes. More variety in terrain and more eye-candy is desperately needed in this map.
Story/Instructions - The map had a below average story. It wasn't very exciting and there were some spelling mistakes, too. But the idea of the story is good and can be turned into a good story.
Final comments: While this map lacks in several aspects, it doesn't make it any less fun to play. I don't regret taking the time to play the map.

Before starting this review I would say that Sultan's review is unjustified - read the review guidlines.
This map is quite fun to play - only one major problem with it. The AI can sneak round and go across the stone instead of attacking the main fort. The map suffers for this. Apart from that the map is quite fun to play and quite hard - this is quite like the Usurper really although not quite as good. Quite creative - a nice idea to a map. The map design is very simple though - could have been more adventurous with your map design tools. Not too bad though. A bit of storyline - just about enough for a 3. Overall I would say that this map was quite good to play and quite challenging but more work is needed in map design and storyline. Not a bad effort at all.

Playability: It was ok to play invasions were pretty well done
Balance: found it a bit too easy to play but it would of been better if invasions were bigger
Creativity: this is where the harsh remarks came from. I really think you could do better on the terrain, not really creative.
Map design: ............ sorry i don't want to say anything else bad but it lacks something
Story: Not bad, not bad at all.
