Fort Mallwas is a siege where the enemy attack on three preety close waves. There are TWO signposts on the map, so you won't know where the enemy will concentrate his efforts.
This map uses a lot of natural eye candies. You can even use a trebuchet to fire cows at the invading army. Not very effective but helps! I strived to make one of those "Perfect valleys" and of course, great waterfalls, as the city nowadays is know for it's falls. Bear with my creativity, damn paralel worlds :D
I'd like you to review the map. I'd be very happy :)
Great map - really close and with beautiful countryside. Really good stuff from Neko here - my hat off to you. The AI are efficient and almost reached the keep on Normal. Brilliant on hard - a great challenge. I love the trebuchet - cows are so effective in defence! So a deserved 5 in balance and a strong 4 in playability as it is a lot of fun. The map is really well designed - really good countryside - I like all the cliffs and rivers and the little village behind the castle. Almost a five in map design and creativity. The storyline is quite basic - only just 4 - more is needed Neko. I recommend having a better site description as it attracts more downloads and reviews. Overall this is a fine siege/invasion. Fun, close, and well designed - what more could you ask for? Great stuff! Was quite near to scoring a lot higher.

I don't understand the two prior reviews to mine as there is a crucial, easily fixed bug in the scripting of this map. You can only win by losing, you lose by winning. That is, the win and lose conditions are backwards. Win is set to Lord Killed, lose is set to No Enemy and Invasions Left. Maybe they played a prerelease version. That aside this is a pretty neat little map.
Playability: 3. Short, but fun map. Not much to do except shuffle troops and some management during the battle. Not very hard, even on hard setting. I would probably rate it at normal to easy. There are no dairy farms so the provided trebuchet can fire stone but not cows, therefore of little use. Author has obviously worked hard to get AI to provide an interesting attack and succeeded very well. Forces split up and attack different areas of castle, keeping you on your toes. Very few maps achieve this. Hope to see more work from this author. Would give a 4 playability score if win/lose conditions are fixed.
Balance: 4. Very well balanced. Well designed invasions. Probably only plays well on Hard or below. Normal attacks with 1002 sprites. Hard will use 1503 and you have about 200, over the limit but will still be a good play. Very hard would be way over the limit. Even though there are three invasions, they're close enough that very few sprites will be freed up before the last invasion.
Creativity: 3. Good creativity with many nice touches.
Map Design: 4. Well designed with smallish attractive castle and varied terrain including water and sea effects. Great effort.
Story/Instructions: 4. Short but fine.
A fun map. Win/lose conditions don't affect play, only the outcome. Fix it yourself in the editor, or hopefully the author will post an updated version.
