this castle is real, it was the kings seat in norway for some time. only the tower in the middle stands as a recreation. of the wall its only ruin left, and of the church.
----hint----
get 100 pitch qickly and use good or bad things
Playability: 2
The map has numerous glitches (armory mysteriously adds weapons when recruiting, half of first gatehouse with drawbridge won't raise, etc.) and the presence of the three signposts takes away from the point of having the river crossing and the drawbridges. Also, the 100 pitch goal you mention in the description is nonexistent and unscripted in the map.
Balance: 2
The map is badly unbalanced in the fact that the triple signposts take away from the main defense of the keep by allowing all the invasions to come from the east, on the castle side of the river. Also, the invasions are too large and too close together, considering you have build your own army, instead of the natural "seige" format of having a standing army.
Creativity: 2
There are some good points about the castle, but there are also some bad points. There are some ungainly portions of the walls, and the drawbridges are of no use.
Map Design: 2
The map is ungainly in several regards, with overuse of stone and the unatural nature of having a moat next to the "river" (which is actually sea posing as river) being primary amongst them.
Story/Instructions: 1
No description page story, no minimap, no in game story. No effort put forth in this very important part of the map.
