Toreriton Castle, situated in the South of England has long been a defensive spot, with a large river running through the town and containing the only bridge remaining across the River Toreri. Around this bridge a huge fortification has been built, designed to hold back even the toughest of foes. Over the River the town flourishes, with many interesting buildings. In the Town is a huge Keep, surrounded by high walls and a wide moat. The castle has held it’s own against many forces, but none the size of the one approaching. Duc Volpe has amassed an army bigger than any other yet seen, with one purpose: To destroy Toreriton. You and Duc Volpe have long been arch enemies, and this will be the final showdown between you and your nemesis: If you win, Duc Volpe will be too weak to defend against your forces, but if you lose, you will be slain on the spot.
A good map here but still a few problems so I hope you can take my review and use it to better future maps.
Playability -5- Good strong five here as you must achieve economic goals and defend yourself.
Balance -3- this is the area that let the map down, becase of the closeness and scale of the gatehouse my missle troops were able shoot down t eattackers before they had a chance, in futere try to place the sign post away from andvantage points like the gatehouse as it will have a massive change to balbance.
Creativity -4- I always like the idea of ecovasions ans they calll them, and they are creative as you need to balance between troops and resources, and your structures + keep were interesting and indeed creative.
Map Design -3- Map design also needed some work, many areas were just left blank which could have been filled with cliffs srubs and much more, try to fill in as much as possible when making a map.
Story/instructions -4- I'll award a four as I don't want to hurt the overall score but perhaps more body and detail is needed, remember a story is as important in a map as anything else.
Overall good map but more work should be done with balance, perhaps adding mor troops and iege equipment would help, as would distancing the signpost, keep at it.
