Protect your Stronghold agaisnt large enemy forces.
This is easy because of the river. Expect LARGE enemy forces! Make use of everything you have, to protect your Stronghold.
Tip: it isn't that difficult.
Tip: It is that hard! Want to know why this is named the "Golden River"? Because that's what it looks like when the over 490 Swordsmen, Knights, Pikeman, and Engineers attack your pre-built Stronghold during the final attack. I'm sure the creator would have used more soldiers if they hadn't reach the maximum limit.
There simply isn't enough time to create the troops necessary to fend off the massive attacks in this map.
Playability: I give it a 2. Enough said.
Balance: Another 2. I'd rate it higher if more time and space were available.
Creativity: Another 1. Such a nice design seems wasted by poor planning of enemy assaults. There is only 1 sign post and 1 route to the pre-built castle.
Map Design: I give it a 3. It is a nice looking map with a good river system. I think it's underdeveloped. Also, there is an error with how the Lord dies and you lose. (Basically you have to sit and watch all of your people and buildings get destroyed before the map claims defeat).
Story: The story is basically non-existant.
I'd recommend that you only download this map if you intend to change the events and make it playable.
