Playability: There were times I really got into this scenario but the effect was not sustained. And despite several bad mistakes on my part I was able to win on the first try.
Balance: I felt the balance could have been better. I was able to beat the scenario on the first try. I lost about half of my men, and at one point the invasion did break through my defenses and I had to defend my Lord near the keep. However, by the end I had quadrupled the gold requirement and was simply waiting on the last attack to come.
Creativity: I liked the fact that the starting keep was not preset. Although not a new concept I normally don't see that in downloaded scenarios. The events and invasions were ok. At one point in an invasion a plague hit. The fires were well timed. The impenetrable hill in the middle of the board was definitely different and made for some interesting game play. I also thought that the timing of the bandits was well integrated
Map Design: Again I like the elevation in the middle of the board. However, some of the map seemed rough in places. The multiple signposts as always was good.
Story: Nothing really special. A good into to the mission
