Battle of Bloody Ford -Updated

Author File Description
File Details
Map Size: 200x200 (Small)
Difficulty: Impossible
This map is a prelude to Succession of Maerlioc. It's set at the Batttle of Bloody Ford, where Prince Michael II's father dies (supposedly) in a bloody battle against the pig's army known as "The Red Tide" for their overwhelming numbers. Shortly before the battle King Michael I sends off a scout to inform his son of his death, he was not expicting to survive against such numbers. "Tell him that I am either dead or captured, and if I am captured he should not try to make ransom, surely the pig will demand more than what is fair. Tell him he is king now." As he makes his last charge the king feels regret that he was never as good and popular with the peasants as his son was, he had always ruled by the gauntlet and the sword. "This shall be my last campaign," he thinks to himself "if I should somehow survive this I shall never do battle again, I shall become a priest."

Updates include:

-Enemy's numbers: 200 macemen, 300 pikemen, 300 swordsmen, and 240 horesmen

-Your numbers: 300 pikemen, 300 swordsmen, 50 crossbowmen, 1 horeseman (the king)

-Odds of winning are even worse, but the win condition should be fixed just incase!

-Terrain is more detailed, there's only one place the enemy can cross now and the river is wider.

Good luck but don't expect to win,

Playability: 4
There does not apear to be any win perameters i was left with 90 horsemen and i still did not win i searched the whole screen 3 or four times and there were no pigs men left
Thats fixed now and the map is playable again. With win perameters on it realy makes this map fun playing even if it is alittle short :( but overall good map

Balance: 4
Fairly challenging on normal and VERY challenging on hard but aslong as you keep together and stop them surounding you its is a comfy victory

Creativity: 3
Nice idea shame you cant win...

Map Design: 3
Nothing special here looks like you have played with the natural tools for about 5 mins to cover the map

Story/Instructions: 3
Nice story belivable

But to be honest i would still not lock your maps its pointless and if there are any glitches that you cant figure out then other people can help you.

Actually I did place win must be glitching on me, I'll have to fix that. I was planning on updating anyway, the only reason I posted so early was to give a prelude to Succession of Maerlioc.

double d ok il upload the updated version and then il rethink the score
SangLey ^_^I WIN this map~HAHAHAHA~
Now,maybe this map is impossible to rush just for a glance, but there is a trick in it.I don't know whether the author thinks so:The CROSSBOWMEN is the key!
First, move all your crossbowmen and about 40~80 pikemen(they are used to protect the crossbowmen in case in the moving.Makesure you cann't loss even a crossbowman)to the right corner near the river,at one time, move all swordmen and macemen to hold up the enemy as quickly as possible. They can attract the enemy to protect the crossbowmen and pikemen from the slay(your operation now is choosing your destiny, remember must be quickly and precisly!)
After your crossbowmen an pikemen are on the will find ¡¡you can kill all the enemy with your lovely CROSSBOWMEN!At the end of battle, you can use the pikemen to accelerate your victory~~~~Enjoy it.ha
